I didn't know that!
...and I'm still not sure whether it's true or not, but because of my Wiki Walk the other day, I read a certain person's Profile and they said that "I'm actually one of those rare teenagers who isn't depressed", or at least something along those lines of the same meaning.
Hm. So that means lots of teenagers are depressed?
Well, I'm surrounded by a bunch of bright, happy, energetic, intellectual, A-grades optimists. And by A-grades, I mean that they get good grades in school. Of course, they usually make me want to gauge their eyes out or somethin', but that's not what I'm going to talk about.
But that's actually all I want to say.
...I just wanted to mention that, nothing much...
So then, later!

Huh~ I suppose they just hide it...? I mean, on the internet it's very easy to find depressed people because they can say what they feel without being judged (someone's bound to agree with them, anyway), but I suppose in real life, we exist around other people - our emotional state doesn't just effect ourselves, it effects every one we interact with. HMM~ very interesting observation, Mage-chan.
ReplyDeleteI myself doesn't know whether it's true or not - because I think the majority of people online are the depressed ones - while the non-depressed ones aren't online because they actually have a life and are off doing more productive things.
DeleteSo; majority teenagers online are depressed DOES NOT = majority of teenagers are depressed.
However, we do not know how many of those online teenagers are compared to the amount of teenagers in the world. >.>
If you know what I mean.
And there's also another factor - many people have bad days and bad moods. Those people may only complain online when they're in a bad mood - doesn't necessary mean that they are depressed. So we don't really know whether those people are truly "depressed" or not.
