There's this certain waitress called... let's see... Ae-chan.
She's been working at the restaurant for around 2 months (?).
But she insists on taking orders.
And her hand writing sucks.
Since there are lots of old people working in the kitchen, the food need to be written in big, clear writing.
At first, the order she took was written in tiny little letters.
Now it is bigger but the way she writes makes it hard to read. :/ (For old people with bad eyesight, anyways)
But it's hardly possible for someone to change their handwriting. And she's too persistent on wanting to take orders that I can't stop her. :/ (I did try, but now the boss said it's okay for her to take orders even though there are some little mistakes, so I can no longer say anything... still, her handwriting sucks)
Her handwriting seems sort of... lanky. She uses those type of old-English cursive, so when she has to write big... it comes out weird, you know? =.=
Normally, her handwriting looks good; pretty even. But pretty... DOES NOT mean "legible".
I once said, "Ae-chan! This is too small!" The actual dish was good enough but the customer wanted it to be "mild", and that was written in tiny letters underneath... it was barely visible, actually...
She held up her hand and left a space around 2mm between her thumb and forefinger, "You should've seen how small my real writing is! It's way tinier than that!"
Me, "Then that's...!" ...your own problem!! You know, adaptation! Writing bigger isn't an impossible task, so do it!!
At that time I trailed off since I couldn't find the right words to express my thoughts. :/
One time she came up to me/my boss (we were standing next to each other), showed up two pieces of paper and asked, "So do I give one to the kitchen and one to the cash register?"
We say yes...
Me, "Wait, Ae-chan. Show me the paper."
She showed it to me. I snatched both off her and destroyed one of them. And then rewrote it.
"Mage-chan is so picky...!" she cried playfully.
But it got me a little annoyed anyway. :/
Me, "If my mum (she's one of the chefs) sees this she wouldn't be able to read it anyways!" I told her the truth. But it was already too late. She'd already headed off to somewhere else... that or she'd ignored me.
